MEET SARA

I was born and raised in Basalt, Colorado. After starting a student fashion magazine and earning a B.S. in Creative Writing at Bucknell University in Pennysvania, I moved to New Zealand. I lived in a small beach town called Mount Maunganui on the North Island for 5 months, bought a Subaru Outback, learned how to drive on the other side of the road and moved to a small lake town on the South Island called Wanaka. After a year of working and traveling around, I came back home, officially retired from waitresing and jumped into a career in marketing. I started at the Roaring Fork Club, a private golf club in Basalt, and worked there for four and a half years managing membership sales and designing signs, menus and golf tournament invitations. I then went on to work in the marketing department at Aspen Snowmass Sotheby's International Realty, the largest real estate firm in the Roaring Fork Valley. There my role was to be the liaison between our company and the Sotheby's International Realty brand and training our brokers and support staff on all things marketing. Through both roles, I discovered a creative niche not only in design, but in problem solving and a true passion for teaching and empowering professionals to succeed in their business.

I  always dreamed of owning my own business (or businesses!) and after becoming a mother to a beautiful little girl named Ayla in 2017, I finally arrived that the conclusion that it was time to be the author of my own success.

Longevity Designs has actually been in the works since 2013. In fact, I nearly started the business twice before officially launching the business in 2018. Longevity Designs allows me the liberty to do what I do best: creative marketing and design. Small business branding is and should be a reflection of the entrepreneurs behind them, as there is a friendly face behind every local business. Sharing your products and services with the community should be fun, vibrant and easy.  That's what I am here for.
